After a 2-10 start to the season, the Golden State Warriors are sitting dead last in the Western Conference. While in the long-term future this could be beneficial, it’s currently disheartening to those that saw the team make five straight NBA Finals appearances.
The Warriors made history, and now they’ll taking a year off. However, everything isn’t lost by one bad season. They’ll return to being title contenders next season, which, looking back on this in 50 years, will be interesting.
Think about explaining to your kids how a team that had over 55 wins in five straight seasons won 20 games and then rebounded back up 55 or more.
