Nick Young, if you remember, was part of the Golden State Warriors championship-winning roster last season. Many of the core players returned, so Young should have a leg up on other potential signees.
Young, who didn’t sign for a good chunk of time to start the season, ended up on the Denver Nuggets. However, after just 20 days, the Western Conference-leading Nuggets waived the 12-year veteran.
In Denver, Young never really found a rhythm. He played just four games and averaged fewer than ten minutes per game. Scoring just nine points, Young had attempted just nine shots in those four games.
