There’s no denying this has been a tough, difficult season for the Golden State Warriors.
It started off with Klay Thompson slated to return in the spring and a dynamic backcourt of Stephen Curry and D’Angelo Russell planning to take the court every night.
Well, Curry broke his hand in the fourth game of the season and Thompson, given the team’s lack of success, was eventually shut down for the season. Those two just broke the hearts of Warrior fans all around.
Also, Russell, who the team didn’t truly get to evaluate with Thompson and Curry, was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, returning Andrew Wiggins and a 2021 first-round pick.
