Especially against the Golden State Warriors, it’s difficult to come out on the road with the passion and effort it takes to win. With a rowdy Oracle crowd, the Trail Blazers were handed a 22-point loss, a performance many expected.
Now, although down in the series, it should be obvious what Terry Stotts must correct, and the Blazers should come out far more disciplined in Game 2. They committed an unprecedented 21 turnovers which doomed them even without factoring in their mere 36% shooting.
On the offensive end, the Blazers looked fatigued and lacked the energy needed to beat the Warriors in Oracle.
