Even though the Golden State Warriors re-signed versatile center Kevon Looney this offseason, they added another starting-caliber center in Willie Cauley-Stein.
Cauley-Stein spent his first four NBA seasons in Sacramento after the Kings selected him with the sixth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. He averaged 10 points and six rebounds per game over the course of his young career, but was largely viewed as a player who did not live up to his high draft status.
He started all 81 of the games he appeared in last season, but his agent said in June the big man desired a "fresh start" somewhere else
