The Golden State Warriors have hired their replacement for Luke Walton. Former NBA Coach of the Year Mike Brown will take over as the lead assistant coach for the Warriors.

Brown had been linked to the Warriors, previously and the two sides finally agreed to a deal. The terms of the contract have not been released yet.
He hasn't coached since being fired by the Cavs after the 2013-14 season, but has spent much of his time around the Spurs and mentor Gregg Popovich last year.
Brown has served as a head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers (twice). He has aa 347-216 record as head coach, winning the coach of the year award in 2009.
