Kings vs. Warriors: Golden State Aims For Its Fifth Straight Win

The Golden State Warriors (28-1) have won four straight after watching their 24-game win streak to start the 2015-16 NBA season get snapped by the Milwaukee Bucks, including a 89-83 victory over the Cleveland Cavs in Oakland on Christmas Day. Well rested after two day of rest, the Warriors return to action tonight against the Sacramento Kings (12-18) at Oracle Arena. Here's our game preview & prediction

Game Info:

When: 10:30 p.m. EST
Where: Oracle Arena, Oakland, CA
TV: CSN Bay Area (Warriors local), CSN California (Kings local)
Spread: Warriors by 13.5

What's At Stake:

The Warriors will look to win their 11th straight against the Kings and improve to 15-0 at home this year -- extending their regular-season home winning streak to 33 games in the process. Sacramento has already lost two to Golden State this year. A win could turn their fortunes completely around and give them some footing on the fringes of the Western Conference playoff race.

What They're Saying About The Sacramento Kings

Sacramento's real season starts now

Every loss matters for the Kings

What They're Saying About The Golden State Warriors:

Klay Thompson reflects on 37-point quarter

Stephen Curry ready for Kings game, Harrison Barnes doubtful

Key To The Game:

If the Kings are going to have any of chance, they're going to have to curb their turnovers in a big way. Sacramento turned the ball over 22 times in their 98-94 home loss to Portland on Sunday, leading to 28 Blazers points. The Kings give up an average of 19.3 points off of turnovers -- the worst mark in the NBA for any team other than the bottom-feeding Philadelphia 76ers. Golden State thrives in transition, so it'll be up to Kings guard Rajon Rondo to efficiently run the Sacramento offense in hopes of putting the stop to the Warriors' fast break brilliance.

Prediction: Warriors Win 120-101

This Kings team is built to lose to the Warriors. Unless Demarcus Cousins has a bonkers game down low, the Warriors are going to feed off of Sacramento's mistakes and run away in this one.
