The Golden State Warriors will be without forward Kevin Durant in Game 2 of their series against the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday.
The Warriors have ruled out Kevin Durant (strained left calf) for tonight's Game 2 against Portland, according to league sources.

Durant suffered a left calf strain in Sunday's win over the Blazers. The injury is unrelated to the strained MCL he suffered earlier this year that cost him 19 games.
Durant didn't participate in the team's shoot-around earlier on Wednesday and also didn't practice Monday. He was listed as questionable by the team.
It's a precautionary move by the Warriors, designed to give Durant extra time to rest his leg. With Durant out, Patrick McCaw might be in line for more minutes. Backup small forward Matt Barnes is also questionable with an ankle sprain.
