Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers has been named the 2016-17 NBA Executive of the Year, it was announced at tonight's NBA Awards.
Myers beat out several other contenders for the award, most namely Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey.
Myers built this Warriors team that went 67-15 this season on their way to tying a league record by going 16-1 in the postseason, largely thanks to the signing of Kevin Durant this offseason.
It is the second time in three years that Myers has won the award, with San Antonio's R.C. Buford winning last year.
