The Golden State Warriors appear to be well on their way to sweeping the San Antonio Spurs, using a hot start and strong defensive effort to build a 65-51 lead at halftime of Game 4.
Golden State opened the game on a 21-7 run behind some good play from Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, and held a double-digit lead for most of the half.

Curry and Durant both finished with 18 points in the half. Durant also played excellent defense in the half, highlighted by this double block:

San Antonio was able to cut the deficit to as little as seven points after they ripped off a 10-3 run at the start of the second quarter, but the Warriors quickly built the lead back up thanks to an 11-0 run.
The Spurs were limited to just 35.1 percent shooting in the first half (including 28.6 from three-point range), and those offensive struggles are the biggest reason why they trail in this game. JaVale McGee led Golden State's defensive effort with a pair of big blocks.

If they hold onto this lead, the Warriors will advance to the NBA Finals for the third consecutive season. They would also be the first team in NBA history to enter the Finals with a 12-0 postseason record.
