Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals, according to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated:
GSW's Green assessed Flagrant 1 triggering a suspension for Finals Gm 5. CLE's James assessed technical foul.

Green already had one Flagrant 1 and one Flagrant 2 foul in the postseason, and four flagrant fouls trigger a suspension (one Flagrant 2 counts as two flagrant fouls). Though it was not called a flagrant during the game, Green was retroactively given the flagrant foul for hitting LeBron James on this play:
"The cumulative points system is designed to deter flagrant fouls in our game," NBA vice president of basketball operations Kiki VanDeWeghe said in a statement. "While Draymond Green's actions in Game 4 do not merit a suspension as a standalone act, the number of flagrant points he has earned triggers a suspension for Game 5."
The Warriors were reportedly bracing for this possibility over the past two days. They are up 3-1 in the series and can clinch the NBA championship with a win at home in Game 5, but doing so without their starting power forward will make it more difficult for them to do so.
Andre Iguodala is expected to start in Green's place, but that could change before the start of the game. Tip off for Game 5 is Monday at 9:00 pm ET on ABC.
Green is averaging 14.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game in the Finals.
