Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors was arrested for assault in Easy Lansing, Michigan over the weekend. The details of the fight that resulted in Green's arrest are starting to come out, and we've got all the latest details listed below. We'll update this story as new information comes out.
When The Fight Happened:
Green was arrested Sunday morning around 2:30 a.m., according to Fox 2 in East Lansing. The fight occurred in downtown East Lansing, per MLive.com. Police were called, and although the victim was not injured, Green was arrested for assault. He was released on $200 bail Sunday and has an arraignment scheduled for July 20th. Green played his college ball at Michigan State University and was reportedly in town for a wedding.
What Caused The Fight:
It appears that Green became fed up with a heckler and "hit" him.

That the victim wasn't actually injured bodes well for Green. However, he does face potential jail time.
What Discipline Green Faces:
It's a potential misdemeanor charge for assault, and USA Today reports Green faces a maximum of 93 days in jail and a $500 fine. Because the victim wasn't even injured, it's highly unlikely Green approaches the maximum penalty. However, the NBA could elect to suspended and/or fine Green. The Warriors' forward is set to play for the USA Olympic team, and it's unclear if the arrest will affect his status.
