The 69-9 Golden State Warriors suffered one of their worst losses of the 2015-16 NBA season on Tuesday, falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-117 in overtime.
After the game, Draymond Green admitted that the Warriors -- who are still chasing the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' 72-10 record -- have gotten a little "bored" with the regular season.
"Talking 82 games, we get bored with that after awhile," Green said to ESPN.com. "And that's no excuse, just, I'm always give it to y'all real, and that's about as real as I can be. It's kind of at a point now where you're ready for the regular season to be over."
With the loss to the T-Wolves, the Warriors are now longshots to surpass the Bulls' historic mark. According to ESPN's Five Thirty Eight, they now have just a 13 percent chance to reach 73 wins.
The Warriors close out the season with two games apiece against the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies, starting with the Spurs at home on Thursday. There was talk of Gregg Popovich resting his starters against the Warriors, but that may no longer be the case with San Antonio (65-12, 39-0 at home) closing in on a perfect record on their home court.
