In today's look into breaking Warriors rumors and news, the Golden State Warriors agreed to terms with free agent point guard Shaun Livingston on a multi-year contract on Tuesday night.
Per Adrian Wojnarowski, the Warriors picked up the valuable former Brooklyn Nets standout on a relatively cost-effective deal:

The Livingston pickup most certainly marks the end of 34-year-old Steve Blake's time in Oakland, with the Warriors opting to go younger with the 28-year-old Shaun Livingston behind Stephen Curry.
Livingston made just $1.2 million last year in Brooklyn, garnering a sharp pay increase from the Warriors in free agency. The most the Nets could offer Livingston was the minimum mid-level exception (three years, $10 million) - a factor which most likely contributed to his departure.
As the Warriors have cut their projected cap space almost in half with this deal, the dream of a potential LeBron James signing (or even sign-and-trade) starts to look even less likely - especially with reports that James is strongly considering returning to Miami on a max salary for a year or two.
However, the Warriors are still primed for more work in the marketplace and/or a marquee trade down the road.
