Warriors News: Warriors undefeated at home against Pacific Division for first time

Friday night was a glorious night for Warriors news on all accounts. The Golden State Warriors absolutely annihilated the Sacramento Kings at Oracle Arena by a count of 102-69 -- completing a first for the franchise in the process.

For the first time in Golden State Warriors team history, the Warriors finish undefeated (8-0) at home against the Pacific Division -- sweeping the Kings, Lakers, Clippers, and Suns on their home floor.

Friday's finale of said home sweep was never in doubt. The Warriors led the Kings 59-27 at the half, holding the Sacramento Kings to paltry 18% shooting in the first 24 minutes.

The game should have been set up for Kings starting center DeMarcus Cousins to dominate the Warriors down low, as Golden State was without David Lee and Andrew Bogut for the night. However, the Kings' big man picked up 2 fouls in the first minute and 48 seconds of the game -- prompting Sacramento Kings head coach Michael Malone to pick up a technical foul in defense of Cousins.

From that point on, the game was academic for the Golden State Warriors.

Klay Thompson led a balanced Warriors attack with 21 points, while Stephen Curry picked up 13 points and five assists in limited floor time.

Seven of the ten Golden State Warriors who saw the floor on Friday scored in double figures.
