Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry was fined $5,000 for flopping in the Warriors' 110-106 win over the Houston Rockets.
Curry fell to the floor after a he shot a three-pointer in transition that was contested by Rockets foreard Terrence Jones who was trailing the play.
"These plays happen every day," head coach SteveKerr said. "I don't think a game goes by where (Los Angeles Clippers guard) Jamal Crawford doesn't flop six times on his three-point shots. It's part of the game and I don't blame them for doing it. Russell Westbrook does it. Everybody does it."
The flopping fine if the first of Curry's career, who said he disagreed with the fine because he didn't even see Jones.
"It's a transition play so obviously my balance is not very good in that situation," he said. "I wasn't even looking for a foul, I just reacted to the contact that was on my arm."
