The Golden State Warriors have given backup PG Shaun Livingston a bit of a breather recently, with Leandro Barbosa stepping in to take his share of the minutes against Utah and Miami earlier this week. Steve Kerr said the move was to reward Barbosa for his energy and effort in practice and in the locker room, but it doesn't mean that Livingston will be out of the picture for long.
On Friday afternoon, Kerr announced that Livingston - averaging 5.6 points and 2.9 assists in 17.7 minutes so far this season - will get plenty of playing time against the Thunder on Friday night. Andre Iguodala and Andrew Bogut are also expected to sit against OKC, and it sounds like Kerr intends to make sure Livingston gets at least 20 minutes one way or another.

The Warriors are in the middle of a stretch that sees them play four games in five nights, and they'll travel to Houston for a game against James Harden and the Rockets on Saturday. The Warriors have won eight straight games heading into Friday night's contest.
