The Golden State Warriors are in a precarious spot down two to one in their Western Conference Semifinals series with the Memphis Grizzlies, but don't count on New York Knicks president Phil Jackson as a source of any sympathy.
The morning after the Warriors' 99-89 Game 3 loss, Jackson let loose this not-so cryptic tweet which seemed directly aimed at the boys from the Bay:
NBA analysts give me some diagnostics on how 3pt oriented teams are faring this playoffs...seriously, how's it goink?
— Phil Jackson (@PhilJackson11) May 10, 2015
Aside from the "goink" misspelling, this comes across as sour grapes from an executive who oversaw one of the biggest big-market trainwrecks in recent NBA history. He also forgot to mention that the Warriors are still one Game 4 victory from seizing back home-court advantage and that the situation isn't as dire as some prognosticators are saying.
But, do your thing Phil. Enjoy your vacation.
