Warriors' Guard Stephen Curry Injured his Ankle Once Again

On Saturday night, the Warriors played the Washington Wizards. The Warriors ended up winning the game 101 to 92. With six minutes left in the fourth quarter, Stephen Curry fell to the ground grasping his right ankle.

Curry limped off of the court and after an MRI, he was diagnosed with a severe ankle sprain. It is no surprise that Curry’s ankle has become an issue once again. Curry has had two ankle surgeries on the same ankle over the past three years.

After the All-Star break, Curry averaged over 26 points per game and his ankle troubles seemed to be a thing of the past. Curry’s ankle could not have been injured at a worse time. Besides Curry’s remarkable performance this half of the season, Warriors’ wins are more important than ever right now. With the playoffs right around the corner, the Warriors need their full team in order to be victorious and make it to the playoffs.

As for now, all we can do is hope that with a few days of rest Curry will be back in action with a fully healed ankle.
