The Warriors might already be the best three-point shooting team in NBA history, but apparently, that isn't enough - GM Bob Myers told 95.7 The Game that the team recently reached out to Ray Allen's representatives.
Golden State currently leads the NBA with a 19-2 overall record, and the Warriors already have three players (Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes) making more than 40% of their three-pointers. Allen hasn't played since leaving the Miami Heat this summer, but is interested in returning to a contender.
Allen has reportedly been telling teams he won't make a decision until January, but the Warriors weren't previously thought to be in the running and may be trying to make up for lost time. Cleveland, Chicago, Washington and San Antonio have all been listed as possible destinations, with the Cavaliers reportedly leading the race.
