The Golden State Warriors have the best record in the NBA, yet many question if they have the makeup to advance through the uber-competitive Western Conference and win a title. Here are the three most important games they have left on their schedule to help prove they deserve to be title favorites:
March 27 at Memphis Grizzlies
This is Golden State’s third game against Western Conference's second best team this season, and it will be a barometer for how they do should they make they meet in the Conference Finals. Their last matchup is at Golden State, where the Warriors have only lost twice this season, so seeing how they perform on the road against their biggest competition will be key in seeing how effective they'll be in the postseason.
March 31 at Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers knocked the Warriors out of the playoffs in the first round last year, and Golden State has been hellbent on getting revenge against their in-state rivals. The Warriors have won two of the three season meetings so far, and winning the season series would give them a big boost in confidence if they were to face LA in the playoffs.
April 5 at San Antonio Spurs
It's a big game any time you play the defending champs, and this will be another road test that will show how ready the Warriors are to handle a playoff-like atmosphere on the road.
