Golden State Warriors Rumors: Which remaining free agent big men could help the Warriors?

This offseason, Chat Sports is bringing you all the latest Golden State Warriors rumors and speculation.

With just over two months left before the season tips off, the Golden State Warriors are still exploring ways to add size and depth to their roster. Jermaine O'Neal is the Warriors only backup center at the moment (Festus Ezeli's injury is expected to keep him out until early 2014), and considering Attempts to bring 2012 draft pick Ognjen Kuzmić over this season have stalled, and the Warriors will likely turn to the remaining pool of free agents to try and find players who can contribute off the bench.

Here are a few likely targets:

Joel Przybilla: Przybilla the Vanilla Gorilla hasn't appeared in more than 31 games in a season since 2009, so he'll definitely be available at a price the Warriors can afford.  A consistent rebounder who's developed a reputation around the league as an enforcer, Przybilla would be a solid deputy for Festus Ezeli until Ezeli returns from injury  At 33, Przybilla won't be slicing through the lane or throwing down acrobatic dunks, but with the scoring options the Warriors have available, his role will be limited.

DeSagana Diop: Diop has spent five seasons languishing on the Bobcats, and a change of scenery could be excellent motivation for the 31-year-old Senegalese player. Diop's six-year, $32 million contract expired this off season, and he'll be available for a much less outlandish price. At seven feet tall, Diop is a solid rebounder and very good shot-blocker, and he could potentially take a major salary cut to play for a playoff team. Diop's last playoff minutes came against the We Believe Warriors back in 2007, when his top-seeded Mavericks lost to Golden State in one of the greatest playoff upsets of all time.

Cole Aldrich: At 24, Aldrich is one of the youngest players left on the market. The 11th pick in the 2010 draft, Aldrich played two solid seasons for Oklahoma City before moving to Houston in the James Harden trade. He barely played at all in Houston, but provided solid rebounding off the bench after he moved to Sacramento later in the same season. The Kings renounced his rights to dump salary (Aldrich made $2.4 million last year). Golden State will have competition for Aldrich - young seven-footers with potential aren't usually available this late in the free agency period. Rumor has it that the Knicks are interested in the Kansas product, and he'll likely end up with whoever can promise him the most playing time.
