Golden State Warriors power forward David Lee injured his hip flexor during the first game of the Warriors first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets last April. Lee underwent surgery so to repair the injury on May 30. Just 68 days later, Lee was caught on video dominating a game at Harlem's legendary Rucker Park. The competition might not be NBA-caliber, but it's incredibly encouraging for Warriors fans to see Lee moving and jumping so well.
Lee is under contract for three more seasons, and is set to make a total of $13.878 million next year. In April and again in July, reports surfaced that the Warriors were considering trading Lee, but the rumors turned out to be false.
Last year, Lee became the first Warrior to make the All-Star team since Latrell Sprewell way back in 1997. Lee averaged 18.5 points and 11.2 rebounds on the year.
