Golden State Warriors Make a Comeback

After an embarrassing game against the Chicago Bulls Friday night, the Warriors bounced back and beat the Houston Rockets 108-78 on Sunday. The Houston Rockets have beaten the Golden State Warriors the first three times they have met this year. The Warriors have not been playing as the team that we had seen at the beginning of the season since the All-Star break.

The Warriors won four out of the past seven games during their seven games at home. It's about time the Warriors got their game back. The playoffs were falling out of their grasp. This game has not created a secure position for the Warriors in the playoffs, but they are now 1½ games ahead of the Houston Rockets for the Number 6 seed in the playoffs.

The Warriors have stepped up their defense. Bogut was able to hold up his end on defense and Klay Thompson was able to keep Harden in check the entire game. They have been stepping their game up and proving how much they want the playoffs this year.

Following the All-Star break, it seemed that the Warriors were giving up. Once Bogut came back from his injury, the Warriors seemed took a turn for the worst. After trading one of their most valuable players: Monta Ellis, for an injured Andrew Bogut, trading Bogut was not an option. The Warriors had to make sure that they were able to form a team with Bogut that was able to be victorious.

The Warriors are beginning to look like themselves again. They have successfully incorporated Bogut into their lineup and they seem like a complete team. With a little under a month left in the regular season, the Warriors need step up their game and make sure that they are ready for the playoffs.
