The Golden State Warriors beat the Miami Heat in Miami on December 12, 2012. It doesn’t get much sweeter than that!
Number 12 must be the Warriors lucky number. Let's hope it’s a sign that number 12 Andrew Bogut will be back soon, although the Warriors seem to be doing just fine without him on the court.
The Warriors have been doing exceptional this season. Lebron James came out and said that the Warriors were a very good team and that the game tonight was going to be a “big” game. He was right.
Stephen Curry is noticeably their standout player, but the Warriors have been working together as a team to win these games. Jarrett Jack had 20 points off of the bench helping the Warriors win tonight. But the most significant moment in the game was Draymond Green’s layup with 0.9 seconds left in the game. This got the Warriors 2 points ahead of the Miami Heat making the final score 97 to 95.
The Warriors have become a team. They have the chemistry that a team needs in order to succeed.
With a 15-7 record and a five game winning streak, the Warriors are looking like a playoff team already. If the Warriors had beat the Orlando Magic on December 3 then they would be on an eight game winning streak. They head to Orlando on Friday to see if they can continue their winning streak or if the Magic will break it once again.
The Warriors are looking more like a playoff team as the season progresses. Warriors’ fans its time… break out the “We Believe” signs; they’ll come in handy this playoff season.
