Your no. 6-ranked Georgia Tech men’s golf team was back in action yesterday at the Franklin American Mortgage Collegiate. Having already won one tournament and come close to winning a second, the fall slate has been extremely fortuitous to the Yellow Jackets thus far. The Tech squad has risen dramatically from their preseason no. 18 ranking on the fortunes of their exceptional play. This week’s tournament, hosted by Middle Tennessee State University, runs through Tuesday and looks to be another competitive field, a good matchup for the impressive Georgia Tech golf team. The top four scorers for Tech in the previous tournaments are all underclassmen and look to build on their stellar performance this fall.
