Big play: A-back Clinton Lynch took an option pitch and sprinted untouched to the end zone to give the Yellow Jackets a 7-3 lead at the 5:18 mark. It was the longest run of Lynch’s career.

Turning point: Defensive tackle Adam Gotsis, whose superior play has been one of the Yellow Jackets’ few constants this season, suffered what appeared to be a right knee injury on the first play from scrimmage and did not return.
