Georgia Tech has set its non-conference schedule for coach Josh Pastner’s first season. The 12 games prior to the ACC season include three against power-conference teams.
The highlights include the annual matchup with Georgia, Dec. 20 at McCamish Pavilion. The Yellow Jackets also play Penn State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge in State College, Penn., Nov. 29 and go to Knoxville, Tenn., to play Tennessee Dec. 3. The game with the Volunteers is part of a four-game series that began last season.
Tech also plays VCU in Richmond, Va., Dec. 7, ending a home-and-home series. VCU is one of two non-conference opponents that played in the NCAA tournament last year.
