Georgia Tech offensive coordinator Dave Patenaude has confidence in the team’s offensive line. If the offense is going to make improvements this year, that’s one unit that will have to make a difference. As the article points out, last year the Yellow Jackets had trouble moving the ball finishing 127th in total offense in the FBS. Of course, the offensive line did have its share of injuries. Health issues aside, hopefully this year will see some big improvements.
Of course it’s only Geoff Collins’ second year as head coach of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and given the daunting task of transitioning from the triple-option to a whole new offensive system, it’s understandable that expectations aren’t too high for the Yellow Jackets.
