It’s a little surprising to be saying this, but there’s more good news from the NCAA as it reaches a decision on a player’s eligibility. This time Georgia transfer Rodney Howard was approved for next season. His eligibility means he won’t have to sit out a year. Head coach Josh Pastner made the announcement yesterday. The decision comes on the heels of the NCAA’s decision to approve the eligibility of Kyle Sturdivant. So, needless to say, it’s been a pretty good week for Tech’s transfer student athletes.
This is pretty good news if the teams can actually stick to the schedule and there’s no further delays or cancellations because of the pandemic.
