As we continue through the summer, the Web.com tour (effectively the minor leagues to the PGA Tour) has seen some major success from a trio of Georgia Tech graduates — Ollie Schneiderjans, Richy Werenski, and Anders Albertson. Schneiderjans and Werenski have performed at a level that has them both in position to transfer to the PGA Tour next year, while Albertson is a single strong performance away from joining them. Should the trio officially make it to the Tour, they’d hardly be trail blazers -- they would join a legacy of Yellow Jackets golfers who have played on the sport’s biggest stage, including Matt Kuchar, Stewart Cink, David Duval, Tripp Isenhour, Roberto Castro, and of course the great Bobby Jones.
