Bill Connelly (formerly of SB Nation) is one of ESPN’s advanced stats experts. Each year, Connelly goes in-depth about all FBS teams with a look back at their previous seasons and gives predictions for the season ahead using his SP+ model. Coincidentally, Connelly published his ACC Coastal division preview for the year on the same day that he took a look at Georgia Tech on Twitter. Basically, the Yellow Jackets can improve a whole lot this season (meaning an actually functional offense), and still only go 4-8 due to the schedule’s intensity. I can’t wait for September 3!
