Technical Tidbits 6/23: Josh Okogie, Real American; let’s talk about high schoolers (but in a not weird way)

Go paint an American flag on your chest and get ready to cheer for your man, because basketball sophomore guard Josh Okogie has made the final cut and will be on the US men’s national under-19 basketball team. He is the first Georgia Tech player to compete for the USA in international play since Chris Bosh won Olympic gold in 2008 with the Redeem Team in Beijing. The team, coached by all-American babyface John Calipari, heads to Egypt in a week for the FIBA under-19 World Cup in Cairo. The team has won a record 6 championships, including the last two, so the odds of O coming back with some hardware are pretty good.
