At Georgia Tech, athletics are important, but what really matters most is success in the classroom. Clearly, Yellow Jacket student-athletes are succeeding off the field, with an average GPA for the 2021 spring semester of 3.10. For this to be the mean at an institution as difficult and trying as Georgia Tech speaks to the well-roundedness of the student-athletes and the work that GTAA does to support them in all facets of life. The women’s swim and dive team was especially impressive, with a 3.64 team GPA. The baseball team lead the men with a 3.43 team GPA.
