The biggest uniform news of the Georgia Tech football offseason dropped yesterday with the reveal of new front bumpers for the helmets. Head Coach Geoff Collins is clearly focused on the “Atlanta” theme for the Jackets with the new addition, as the “ATL” will be showcased on almost every close-up shot of Tech players during the upcoming season. I’m a big fan of the bumpers on the white helmet, but I think that the blue on the gold helmet will only look decent when paired with blue jerseys. Unfortunately, my opinion doesn’t matter much in the eyes of the adidas uniform design department.
