Last week’s MLB draft must have been nerve wrecking for Yellow Jacket Baron Radcliff. As pointed out in the article, Radcliff was hopeful of being drafted as high as the third round and seemed certain to at least be off the board by the fourth round, given the several teams that had an interest in him. He ended up getting drafted in the fifth and final round of the draft by the Philadelphia Phillies. Regardless, it must be a good feeling being drafted. Radcliff was the second Yellow Jacket to be drafted after the Oakland A’s selected Michael Guldberg in the third round.
