Josh Pastner wasted no time before making his second assistant coaching decision, electing to bring in former Portland head man Eric Reveno to work on The Flats. Reveno, who spent a decade as the head man in Portland prior to his dismissal at the conclusion of this season, owns a career 140-178 record. I'm assuming that he is supposed to be the resident strategist on the staff, but the exact motive behind his hiring eludes me. It's possible that he and Pastner crossed paths at some point, as Ken Sugiura notes, but there's no true history to speak of between the two.
