It was an exciting night on the Flats, for the first time in over four months, there was a football game. Fans were in attendance at Bobby Dodd Stadium, and basketball coaches Josh Pastner and Nell Fortner made a play-calling cameo. QB Jeff Sims continued his outstanding play from last season, only throwing one incomplete pass on the night and accounting for three touchdowns. If Sims continues that high level of play, it will be a huge boost to the Jackets’ winning-record chances. The game was exciting, with the Sims-led “Gold” team beating the “White” team in the final few minutes of action.
