At this point, I’m not sure if an official announcement has been made, but as this article states, at the time, it appears the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team could be picking up a significant transfer. Deivon Smith announced his intention to transfer but didn’t specify where he would commit to. Smith is a product of Grayson High which is in the Atlanta area. If he indeed plans to return home and to play at Tech it would be a significant addition to the team. The Yellow Jackets finished the season strong and qualified for their first NCAA tournament in years.
