Every year, Every Day Should Be Saturday runs a charity bowl for New American Pathways, a refugee resettlement program in metro Atlanta that helps people who have literally nothing. These refugees are in a strange and foreign country usually fleeing some dictator and/or poverty and war and NAP is there for them as soon as they set foot in Georgia until they get jobs and citizenship. They help provide housing, clothing, English lessons, cultural acclimation, etc. They do wonderful work and are certainly worthy of your donation.
If that hasn’t convinced you yet, the donations are by school, with Michigan having won this every single year they’ve ever done it.
