This was not a game for the faint of heart, even though Miami was the no. 13 seed in the ACC Tournament, they played like a top seed for the entire game. The lead was exchanged a few times, and neither team ever got a clear advantage throughout the contest. Like he seems to do often, Tech’s Jose Alvarado rose to the challenge (even after a knee injury) and sealed the game for the Jackets with just seconds to go. He saved a ball that was headed out of bounds and if lost, could have given Miami the lead.
