Technical Tidbits 3/1: Klock lands at Northwestern, NCAA strikes back against fantasy football

Former Georgia Tech offensive lineman Trey Klock, who left at the conclusion of last season as a graduate transfer, has decided to continue his college football career with Northwestern. Though he spent a fair amount of his time at Tech dealing with injuries, Klock had become one of the strongest pieces on Paul Johnson’s offensive line. We’ve seen how critical a solid offensive line is in college football (see: Georgia Tech, 2015 and UGA, 2016), and losing a talented starter with two seasons of eligibility remaining always hurts. Hopefully Trey made the right choice for himself and will enjoy playing out his career with the Wildcats.
