Ben Lammers absolutely ate Syracuse alive yesterday evening in one of the most thrilling victories of the season: a 71-65 win over the Orange at McCamish Pavilion which really strengthened Tech’s NCAA Tournament hopes. Finishing the game with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 blocked shots, Lammers paced Tech from beginning to end. His strong effort was bolstered by solid nights from Tadric Jackson (20 points) and Quinton Stephens (7 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists) plus an excellent display of ball movement by the whole team — the Jackets recorded 19 assists on 26 made baskets for the night.
