The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team put up another good fight against a ninth ranked University of Virginia Cavaliers team. And, yet again, the Yellow Jackets came up short in what for the most part was a close game that could have easily gone either way. The final score was 57-49. The Cavaliers pulled away in the final minutes of the game despite a valiant effort by the Yellow Jackets. Only two Yellow Jackets scored in double figures — Jordan Usher with 12 points and Jose Alvarado who had 18 points. Michael Devoe struggled offensively for Tech as defense played a key factor in the game for both teams.
