Georgia Tech lost its fifth game of the season and fourth in its last five when the Yellow Jackets fell 80-59 to Georgia.
Tech trailed by just two points at halftime but the Bulldogs made each of their first eight shots in the second half and never relinquished the lead. Georgia star Yante Maten poured in 24 points on 9-11 shooting while Georgia Tech big man Ben Lammers managed just four points.
Tech now sits at 5-5 with non-conference games against Wright State and Coppin State left before beginning ACC play against Notre Dame.
