This is a powerful story from the AJC. Darren Waller won our hearts over with incredible performances during his years on the Flats, but was struggling without many knowing. Waller battled substance abuse for many years, before finally entering a treatment program after being suspended from the NFL for a second time. Waller beat his addiction during his time away from football, and is now one of the most talented pass-catchers in the NFL. Congratulations to Darren, keep up the good work.
I’m going to be honest, I don’t think they can. Even though Kentucky did lose to Evansville, the Jackets will be without one of their best players in Jose Alvarado, and put up a disappointing performance against Syracuse.
