The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men’s basketball team absolutely demolished their ACC rival the Clemson Tigers — who, at least up to last night, were considered the AP’s 20th ranked team (I imagine that will change). Three Yellow Jackets scored over twenty points in last night’s victory — this included Michael Devoe, Moses Wright, and Jordan Usher. Combining to overwhelm the Tigers, these players and the rest of the team shot 57.4% from the field and a very impressive 61.5% from three-point range. When it comes to college rivalries, it’s not easy to have a short memory, and most Tech fans probably still remember the bitter defeat the Yellow Jackets football team suffered at the hands of the Tigers this past season.
