adidas Update: On Monday, the AJC’s Ken Sugiura released some of the details of Georgia Tech’s upcoming apparel deal with adidas. The AJC obtained the terms of the deal through an open-records request. The article is behind the myAJC paywall, but Ken included the broad strokes overview in his tweet. In short, this deal won’t give the Yellow Jackets much in the way of cold, hard cash but the annual allowance for gear is among the highest in the ACC. Georgia Tech athletes will soon be swimming in all kinds of adidas swag. The total value of the deal is roughly P5 average but that still is a marked improvement on the expiring Russell Athletic deal.
