Georgia Tech started their game at Pitt by going up 22-1. They let the Panthers back into it for a little while before slamming the door in the second half. This was a career day for Abdoulaye Gueye who ended up with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Ben Lammers was also solid with 11 points and 16 rebounds as Pitt had no recourse for the size of GT. Georgia Tech grab an offensive rebound on more than 50% of their misses. This win brings the Jackets to 3-1 in the ACC which is third place, just behind Virginia and Clemson.
