Georgia Tech made some bad mistakes in this game that really should have pushed the game towards a VT victory. TaQuon Marshall threw a horrific pick-six, the offensive line chop blocked which was followed by a missed field goal, the kickoff unit gave up another big return, Tech fumbled twice right into the middle of a bunch of Hokie defenders. For their part, Virginia Tech was unable to take advantage. They somehow managed to gather neither of the fumbles which seemed like certain Hokie recoveries .Three times they let a GT receiver get behind the defense, two of which were connected for long touchdowns.
